Leicester Mela Festival returns once again to Abbey Park, bringing the very best of South Asian entertainment, streetperformances, arts, culture and food.

Savour authentic dishes from across the Indian subcontinent, bursting with flavour and tradition.

Enjoy a diverse programme of performances, including dance schools, dhol players, live music from some of the biggest stars in the Asian community, and upcoming local artists.

Shop around the Mela Bazaar -a traditional Indian shopping market- popular for its choice of stunning jewellery, clothes, toys, accessories, bridal products, confectionery, and more. With a number of different stalls, you will be spoilt for choice.

PLUS, we have lots of fun activities for children, from arts and crafts, puppet performances, workshops, henna, games and more.
