Following the popular Last Hurrah Steam Gala, the spotlight turns to heritage diesel traction for one final gala weekend of the year. Expect a busy timetable, plenty of mileage, and the chance to see the Great Central Railway’s diesel fleet out in force.

Whether you’re a long-time diesel enthusiast or simply enjoy the distinctive sights and sounds of classic diesel locomotives, this is the perfect opportunity to round off the year on the railway.
