Journeys Festival International – The Luckiest Girl Alive

23rd October
King Richard III Visitor Centre, 4A St Martins, Leicester, LE1 5DB

A story of survival, friendship and finding the strength to speak out.
The Luckiest Girl Alive follows Hoda Ali’s journey from Somalia to the UK and her determination to prevent other girls from experiencing FGM. Through storytelling, puppetry and projection, you’re invited into her journey from survival to recovery and hope.

Inspired by the real-life friendship between human rights activist Hoda Ali and artist Nikki Charlesworth, this intimate performance is a powerful reminder of the difference one voice can make.

This is a signed performance.
