Journeys Festival International
This October, discover immersive art, inspiring films, hilarious comedy and more, as Journey Festival International returns to Leicester's city centre.
Throughout the festival, you'll discover stories of migration and community, uncover new perspectives, and celebrate the rich diversity that makes our city, and our world, a more connected place.
This year, JFI partners with Phoenix Cinema for the Journeys Film Programme and brings back No Direction Home by Counterpoints Arts, an unapologetically funny night of stand-up featuring migrant and refugee comedians at The Y Theatre.
Other highlights include Story Chefs by Maison Foo, free creative workshops at the Festival Hub, and the shado x DMU Panel on journalism in the 21st century. At Leicester Cathedral, two new installations encourage visitors to slow down and connect. Sirens: Songs of Sisterhood by Liminal Creative and And… Breathe by Pif-Paf.
