Jim Smallman: Comedy Will Never Die (But You Will)
20 years ago, Jim Smallman performed at the Leicester Comedy Festival for the first time. Award nominated multiple times, this is his first comedy performance since 2018 when he walked away to be a dad, write a book, work in TV and eventually, get more tattoos, have his life fall to pieces, move to the USA and nearly die. So there's a bit to catch up on, back in his home town, trying to prove that you never truly leave comedy behind. This isn't a comeback, it's a love letter to an industry. “Beautiful comedy from the stand up who wears his life on his skin” – The Sunday Times
