Introduction to Latch Hook

31st January
Attenborough Arts Centre, University of Leicester, Lancaster Road, Leicester, LE1 7HA

A beginner-friendly introduction to the highly textured and traditional craft of latch hook.

In this relaxed half-day workshop you will create a 12cm squared sample of hooked canvas which you can take home to display as a wall hanging or place in a frame.

Tutor Caroline will guide you through the process of creating a design, cutting your yarn and using the latch hook tool to knot the strands onto the canvas. It is the perfect craft to use up any leftover yarn you may have which you are welcome to bring along and use, although plenty of yarn will be provided for you.
