Heather McDowall is an exciting and unique artist with a self-described "Whimsical Manic" style, blending quirky energy with emotional depth. Her influences, including Kate Nash, David Bowie, Chappell Roan, and Orla Gartland, suggest a diverse mix of indie-pop, glam rock, and introspective singer-songwriter traditions.

As of January 2024, A&R Factory called Heather "by far one of the most promising artists in the UK right now." A rising star in Leicestershire's music scene, Heather is now preparing to release her debut album.
