Hannah Brine at Leicester Guildhall
Join award-winning singer-songwriter Hannah Brine for an intimate festive evening of original songs and seasonal favourites in the beautiful surroundings of the Guildhall.
With a velvet voice and a gift for storytelling, Hannah's music draws on the timeless traditions of jazz, folk and classic songwriting, with echoes of artists such as Carole King, Norah Jones and Melody Gardot. Alongside her own heartfelt songs, she will perform a selection of festive classics, bringing humour, nostalgia and a touch of winter magic to this special concert.
Originally from Leicester, Hannah has gone on to perform at venues including Bridgewater Hall, The Pheasantry and Buxton Opera House. A two-time winner of Best Solo Vocal at the Buxton Fringe, she has been praised for her "wonderfully crafted songs" (Jazzwise) and for performances that are both intimate and deeply engaging.
Gather friends and family and settle in for an evening of beautiful music beside the Guildhall's roaring open fire. Expect winter melodies, festive cheer, perhaps a White Christmas or two, and all the cosy atmosphere of "chestnuts roasting..." as Hannah shares songs old and new in one of Leicester's most historic and atmospheric venues.
Hannah is joined by acclaimed pianist George King.
