Fused Glass Festive Decorations

Make a set of four unique festive fused
Glass hanging decorations.

This is a relaxing 3-hour workshop, where you
Will learn about working with fused glass and create a set of four fabulous
Festive decorations.

You will use coloured sheet glass and a wide
Range of accessory glass to create your designs, which will be fired and
ready to collect from Attenborough Arts Centre around one week later. Keep
Them all your yourself or give them as unique and thoughtful gifts.

No experience of working with glass is needed
So this is a great introduction to this fascinating craft.

The
Workshop runs for up to three hours, but some participants May finish a
Little sooner.

Experience of working with glass is needed so this workshop is ideal for
Beginners and doesn't involve any glass cutting, but it is also suitable for those who have completed a
Previous course and want to develop their skills or just make more lovely
Things in glass!

About the tutor:

Tutor
Katherine has been a practicing glass designer/maker for nearly 20 years, and
has an established studio in Tollerton. Her work is inspired by the natural
world and the colour and clarity of glass. She shares her passion for working
With glass by delivering workshops at an introductory and more advanced level
In glass fusing, copper foiling and traditional stained-glass panel making.

We have four blue badge parking spaces outside Attenborough Arts
Centre, plus double yellow line roadside parking very close to the building
For blue badge holders for up to three hours if our parking spaces are
Occupied.

Free
Parking for all customers is available after 5pm on weekdays and all day at
weekends in the University of Leicester car park next door to Attenborough
Arts Centre on Lancaster Road. The closest public car park for parking at all
other times is Victoria Park, 5-10 minutes walk from us.
