Forget-Me-Not Festival

The Alzheimer's Society will be hosting a fabulous Forget-Me-Not Festival in June, in partnership with LCFC’s Leicester City in the Community.

The entire festival has been co-created and co-designed by people affected by dementia.

There will be back to back acts on the main stage including:

- BOND Ukelele
- Centre for Indian Classical Dance performance
- Bilingual Singing for the Brain in English and Gujarati
- Virtual Motion Dance
- A Living with Dementia Talk
- Bollywood Dancing
- A Memory Service Talk and Q&A


Ongoing Workshops including:

- Percussion Discussion with Ade Anifowose (Vitaminds)
- Intergenerational Yoga
- Intergenerational Dementia Friends Session
- South Asian Dancing with Aakash Odedra Company

Free LCFC Stadium Tour

Information, Stalls and Advice including:
Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, Shama Women's Centre, Jamila’s Legacy, Nihr Leicester Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit, LLR Talking Therapy and Vitaminds, Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire, LOROS Hospice and many more.

On site South Asian Health Action community ambassadors to support with language translation
