Family Music Day

St James the Greater Church is holding a Family Music Day on Saturday 26th September 2026 1.00pm-3.30pm. Sing in harmony with other voices (with Emma Trounson), make junk instruments and create some beats with our ‘Junk Orchestra’ and learn about and hear the St James the Greater organ (with Mike Rule) – the afternoon finishes with a singalong with the organ. There’s no need to register, just drop in when you like! Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

1.00pm Make an instrument craft (to take home afterwards)

1.30pm Junk Orchestra jam

1.45pm refreshments served

2.00pm Harmony singing workshop

2.45pm Organ workshop - Have a go!

3.15pm-3.15pm Sing hymns/songs by request
