From rabbis in Leeds to therapists in New York, she tackles family trauma, botched haircuts, and a Kafkaesque immigration process that demanded she prove herself an ‘Alien of Extraordinary Ability.’ With characters, chutzpah, and unapologetic Jewish humour, Debra turns antisemitism and alienation into a punchline — and a celebration of standing out.
