New year, new creative project! Journaling has become a popular mindful practice and in this workshop we'll show you how to use embroidery as a fun and creative alternative to a written journal.

Embroidery journaling is a way to document your days by sewing icons and words on to fabric to create an eye-catching embroidered artwork. Whether you are a needlepoint newbie or a sewing Sally, this is a relaxing and mindful pastime.

Tutor Bonita will demonstrate a few basic embroidery stitches to get you started on your embroidery journal journey. These will be made on a practice piece before you plan the layout of your journal on a 9” embroidery hoop, with lots of examples and support as you need it. Worksheets of stitches will also be supplied for reference after the workshop as you continue your journal journey!

You will receive a pack to take home to continue with your journal in your own time.
