Ever fancied yourself as a detective? Join the Black Star Mystery, a one-of-a-kind immersive theatre experience set aboard the historic Great Central Railway. As the train winds through the Leicestershire countryside, you’ll be transported back in time and into a gripping narrative featuring iconic figures of Black Britain.

Expect a live murder mystery featuring characters inspired by real-life Black changemakers, a three-course fine dining meal served on board, a curated drinks menu (available for purchase), a scenic journey through the countryside aboard a vintage heritage locomotive, an interactive role for passengers to solve the mystery as the journey unfolds
and lots of laughter!

Black Star Mystery offers more than entertainment. It invites you to explore the histories and legacies of Black Britons through immersive storytelling, all while celebrating heritage, resilience, and joy. This is theatre with purpose and style.
