Beginners Punch Needle Embroidery: Hoop Art
Create your own wonderfully textured
Piece of wall art in this beginner's punch needle embroidery workshop.
You will use a slim needle and DK yarn to create a
piece that can be mounted in a 4” hoop. Not only will you learn a new skill

About the tutor:
Tutor Caroline Colam is an experienced
teacher who has been teaching punch needle for several years. She is the author
of the book ‘Punch Needle: Colouring with Yarn’ and is an exhibiting
artist. She creates a wide range of
Fabulously Bright and colourful punch needle pieces and is as passionate about
the therapeutic process as the finished result. Caroline is also a freelance
punch needle designer/maker for Hobbycraft, writing tutorials for the Ideas Hub
On their website.

This half day workshop will start at 10am
and end at 1pm. Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own
Refreshments.
Participants
must be aged 12+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.

We have four blue badge parking spaces outside Attenborough Arts
Centre, plus double yellow line roadside parking very close to the building for
Blue badge holders for up to three hours if our parking spaces are occupied.
Free parking for all customers is available after
5pm on weekdays and all day at weekends in the University of Leicester car park
next door to Attenborough Arts Centre on Lancaster Road. The closest public car
park for parking at all other times is Victoria Park, 5-10 minutes walk from us
(near De Montfort Hall).
