Artist Development Day
Workshop
Find out about working with museums and heritage as an artistpractitioner. The day includes a guided tour of Mary Linwood Art, Stitch and Life and artist talks, workshops and learning opportunities.

What you need to bring
Lunch and refreshments not included, there will be a break for eating your packed lunch or going out into Leicester city for lunchdrinks. We’ll email closer to the time with anything else you need to bring.
Venue
The event will start at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery (53 New Walk, Leicester LE1 7EA) with a private exhibition tour between 1000 - 1100am and then move on Leicester Guildhall, Guildhall Lane, Leicester LE1 5FQ from 11.30am - 300pm. The group will walk between the two venues, unless participants need to make their own arrangement. Lunch and refreshments not included, there will be a break for eating your packed lunch or going out into Leicester city for lunchdrinks.
Travel
We encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport to visit our museum venues when possible.
Access
