An Evening With Jaimee Harris
**new venue due to demand**
**please note that this is a 'bring your own drinks' event**
We are absolutely delighted to be a part of Texas-born singer/songwriter Jaimee Harris's first solo UK tour and can't wait to see her play when she comes to our part of the East Midlands in November.
If you've seen the wonderful Mary Gauthier play live in the UK recently, you've almost certainly seen Jaimee too; but this event will feature just Jaimee and her guitar, with songs culled from her two acclaimed albums, Red Rescue and Boomerang Town, as well as new songs from her upcoming, but as yet unnamed, third album.
"The first part of tonight’s show concluded with the gorgeous ‘Love Is Gonna Come Again’, Harris’s voice caressing and soothing each syllable, her eyes, partially hidden behind her red tinted glasses appear mostly closed, lost in a memory, while her striking attire looked as if it was borrowed straight out of Gram Parsons’ wardrobe, resembling the appearance of the ‘Nudie Suits’ that famously graced the cover of the debut album of the legendary Flying Burrito Brothers. By this point Harris has the audience baying for more and it is surely only a matter of time before she is back to headline her own tour." Americana UK
Countryside singer-songwriter Luce journeys through rage-driven rhythms and sing-along choruses, deep into the woods and out into the clearing. Her debut album, Conversations with Myself - a story of rape recovery - arrives in spring 2027, with the first singles landing this autumn. Recorded at Grand Chapel Studios in Bedfordshire and crowdfunded by over a hundred people, it has already taken her to classrooms and conference halls, radios and podcast shows, in harmony with voices across the UK, now working in partnership with Rape Crisis England & Wales. Live, she has the kind of voice that stops a room mid-chatter, and she loves the kind of room that enjoys her chatter.
