Opal22, in partnership with De Montfort University (DMU), presents All Shades of Brown Presents Abigaièl Rose & Sunny Gill, a contemporary art exhibition celebrating two emerging Midlands artists.

Following their participation in Opal22's All Shades of Brown exhibition earlier this year, Abigaièl Rose and Sunny Gill return with new bodies of work that explore identity, memory, culture and lived experience through painting and photography.

Abigaièl Rose's striking oil portraits celebrate Black identity, beauty and cultural memory, while Sunny Gill's fine art photography captures everyday moments that reflect on time, place and personal experience. Together, their work offers thoughtful perspectives on belonging, representation and the power of visual storytelling.
