Acting with Puppets with Mikey Brett

Ideal for puppeteers looking to flex their muscles, or actor who want to learn to operate and act alongside puppets. This workshop will explore the relationship between the puppet, the puppeteer, and the actor. Offering techniques and tips for elevating your work as a performer in an ever-expanding area of theatre.

The workshop will include time for questions to support your work.

About Mikey Brett: Mikey is a Leicestershire-born puppetry and movement director. He works all over the UK in theatre, film and TV. Puppetry & movement direction includes A KNIGHT’S TALE (Manchester Opera House), SPITTING IMAGE LIVE (Birmingham REP & West End), THE MAGIC FLUTE (Glyndebourne), KIKI’S DELIVERY SERVICE (Southwark Playhouse).
