Accessible Afternoon

10th May
National Space Centre, Exploration Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NS

An afternoon to support children, young adults and families with additional needs and disabilities, designed for SEND visitors who would benefit from a quieter experience.

Buy a standard day ticket, or use your Annual Pass to book a return visit. You can arrive at any point during the day, but at 15:00 our Accessible Afternoon begins.

Tickets include full access to the award-winning National Space Centre, including the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium. You can select a subtitled show, a drop in Tour of the Night Sky (you can come as go as you feel comfortable), or any show during the day if you prefer.

This is an accessible programme for all ages, that combines relaxed lighting and sounds around the Centre, with hands-on sensory activities. All activities are drop-in, to allow visitors to experience them in their own time.
