Abbey Park Fireworks
The Abbey Park Fireworks Display 2025 is Leicester’s biggest Bonfire Night celebration, taking place on Saturday 1 November 2025. Set in the heart of Abbey Park, this much-loved annual event promises spectacular firework shows, live entertainment, food and drink stalls, and a family-friendly funfair. Whether you’re looking for the best fireworks in Leicester, a safe evening out with the kids, or a vibrant way to celebrate Bonfire Night, this event is not to be missed.
Leicester Racecourse Fireworks
Rivalling Abbey Park for the best night out for Fireworks, The Leicester Racecourse VAL Fireworks Festival on Saturday 1 November promises a spectacular evening of family fun, live entertainment, and award-winning fireworks displays. This year there is also a live DJ set from Aston Merrygold of JLS before the main display, a Funfair open from 4pm plus the Kids Zone (in The Kube) with magicians, stilt walkers, FREE face painting (6 artists available).
Bonfire Night at Belvoir Castle
on Friday 7 November, Bonfire Night returns to Belvoir Castle – bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than ever before! This year the display has a new location in Ladies Field, giving you even more space to enjoy the show. Prepare to be wowed by a large-scale firework display from the award-winning MLE Pyrotechnics, followed by the roaring glow of their enormous bonfire.
Harborough Fireworks Spectacular
On Tuesday 4 November the Harborough Showground will be lit up with an award-winning Fireworks Display by the renowned Illusion Fireworks team. You can also keep warm by the Big Bonfire, let your little ones experience the joy and nostalgia of classic funfair rides, and try some of the lip-smacking Food and drink.
Great Central Railway
On 5 November enjoy an unforgettable Bonfire Night at Great Central Railway! Held at Quorn & Woodhouse Station, this is one of Leicestershire’s most exciting and magical events of the year. With a giant bonfire, spectacular fireworks, fun rides for the children, and plenty of delicious refreshments, it’s an evening for the whole family to enjoy.
Gunpowder Plot Day at the 1620s House
In the house with real connections to the Gunpowder Plot, join an entertaining retelling of the story behind the real 5 November plot on Sunday 2 November and discover the connections to the family that lived in the 1620s House at the time!
Cow & Plough Firework fun
Head to Oadby’s Cow & Plough on Wednesday 5 November for a fantastic night of Firework fun, plus their legendary pop-up Pub in the Woods which will be open from 6pm serving drinks and hot food. The Bonfire will be lit at 7pm with Fireworks at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 per person (under 5s free!) and available behind the bar now!
