Christmas in Ashby Weekend Event Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December

With an exciting line-up of live performances, family-friendly activities, festive stalls and a special appearance from Santa. This weekend promises a magical start to the holiday season for everyone.

Christmas Cheer 2025 in Castle Donington Saturday 29 November 3pm-7pm

Castle Donington hosts its Christmas Cheer event with an exciting line-up of live performances, family-friendly activities and festive stalls with a special appearance from Santa and his reindeers.

Kegworth Christmas Market Sunday 7 December 12-4.30pm

This spectacular festive event will be filled with fun, surprises and heartwarming moments. You can also check out the Kegworth Advent Trail from 1–24 December.

Christmas at The Ferrers Centre for Arts & Crafts

Visit the artists and independent local businesses in their beautifully decorated historic courtyard with great ideas for bespoke handcrafted Christmas presents. You can also check out the Ferrers Gallery “That’s A Wrap” Christmas Exhibition.

Christmas at Conkers Winter wonderland

This gem can be enjoyed by children and parents. Take a wander through a magical wonderland on your way to the Conkers north pole and meet Father Christmas himself.

Christmas at Charnwood Forest Alpacas

This Four-In-One Festive Farm treat allows you to enjoy a festive alpaca walk, meet the piglets, take part in craft sessions and go to the petting farm. You’ll also get a mince pie or cookie.

Christmas at 1620s House & Garden

In this historic manor house you can experience a 17th century Christmas with making a traditional Christmas pudding, Christmas afternoon tea & quiz, wreathmaking workshop, Christmas family hampers plus candlelit carolling & Christmas tours.

Christmas at Hermitage Railway Santa Express

On the 7 & 14 December take a ride on the miniature railway special Santa express which finishes with a visit to Father Christmas in his grotto. Email for more info

Action Man Convention

View iconic toys which were produced at the Palitoy factory in Coalville and treat yourself to a special collectable gift. Saturday 6 December 10am-4pm at the Marlene Reid Centre, Coalville. Free to attend. Some factory tours available on the day.

Coalville 5K Santa Run/Walk

On Sunday 14 December at 10am make some room for the mince pies and burn off some calories as you join this fantastic community event.

Ashby Santa Run/Walk

Join the Santa Run in Ashby on Sunday 7 December at 10.30am. Shape up before the festive season kicks in and have fun around the town and castle.

A Christmas Carol

This one-man performance of the classic tale by Charles Dickens will be guaranteed to transport you back to Victorian London. Friday 19 December – Saturday 20 December 7.30pm & 2.30pm.

Desford Colliery Band

Join the band at the Century Theatre Coalville on Sunday 21 December at 3pm & 7.30pm. Expect festive tunes from this acclaimed band.
