The Abbey Park Fireworks Display 2025 is Leicester’s biggest Bonfire Night celebration, taking place on Saturday 1 November 2025. Set in the heart of Abbey Park, this much-loved annual event promises spectacular firework shows, live entertainment, food and drink stalls, and a family-friendly funfair. Accessibility
Viewing Area: Disabled viewing near the stage (first come, first served).
Entrances: Accessible access at Gates A, B & F (up to three companions permitted).
Toilets: Accessible toilets across the site.
Parking: Limited Blue Badge parking (pre-book via 0116 454 3600).
Getting There
Bike Parks: Available at Gate B (main car park) and Gate J (Charter Street).

Parking: No public parking at Abbey Park or surrounding roads. Use city centre car parks instead.
Safety and Site Rules
No sparklers or fireworks may be brought on site.
Pets are not permitted (except service dogs with proof).
No re-admission – once you leave, you cannot return.
Bag searches will be carried out on entry.

8pm – Main fireworks & last entry
9pm – Event ends
Food, drink, bars, funfair, and walkabout entertainment will run throughout the evening.
Park Closures
Abbey Park (bandstand area) closed from 30 October, 4.30pm until 3 November, 1pm.
Pets’ Corner side closes at 2pm on 1 November and reopens 2 November as normal.
Tow Path (Abbey Park Road to St Margaret’s Way) closed 1 November, 10am–10pm.
